An outdoor socket on its own circuit

- Rated for a heater as well as lights if you want one.
Lighting on a timer
A weatherproof light over the sukkah area, wired to a timer, comes on by itself at dusk over Yom Tov and goes off at bedtime. Any garden PIR lights get an override switch so they stay on, stay off or run as normal.
The rest of the year
The same socket powers Chanukah lights by the front door, garden tools, a pressure washer and the barbecue. We also fit driveway lighting, garden lighting and EV chargers on separate circuits while we are there.
